Isabella was 8 months old but now she's 9 months old!

Yes, I know that I am REALLY behind on my blogging and picture posts. Sorry to those who follow my posts and love seeing the pictures of Isabella. On that note, let's begin....

On June 3, Isabella turned 8 months old! In June Isabella had a few firsts. She got her first ear infection, went on her first hike, went on her first camping trip, and took her first trip to the free zoo (the pet store.... it was too windy to go to the real zoo so we compromised, haha). Isabella loves to be outside and explore the world around her. When she's outside she started doing this really cute nose scrunch thing (I'm going to have to get a picture of it). She also started shaking her head no at you when you tell her not to do something. She is such a fun baby!

Isabella likes to play with and eat my signs when I take her monthly/weekly pictures so I've had to get creative with how I get her pictures. She also likes to not sit still for a picture so getting a good one is a little tricky. I've had to learn to settle for whatever she'll give me.

On July 3, Isabella turned 9 months old! On her 9 month birthday she went to her first water park (unfortunatly I didn't get any pictures) with some of her cousins and aunts. She wasn't sure how she felt about it. She loved when I held her in the lazy river but if I put her down by herself in the kiddie pool she wanted to be picked back up again. The part she didn't like about the kiddie pool was the kids who would run and accidently slash her. Isabella has learned to clap her hands when you clap yours and loves to play patty cake.

Isabella had her 9 month check-up today and here are her 9 month stats:

Height: 27 inches (was  26 inches at 6 months)

Weight: 16 pounds 5.5 ounces (was 16 lbs. 2 oz. at 6 months)

Head circumference: 43.5 cm  (was 42 1/2 cm at 6 months)

So she's a litlle bit bigger than a few months ago and continues to grow just the way she should! The only thing we need to work on is getting her to gain a little more weight; guess she'll be eating more baby food!

We continue to love watching Isabella grow and it's hard to believe that she's already 9 months old! She is so fun and we love watching her learn new things every day!
