Recent Happenings

Since we have moved not a whole has been going on with us. Craig started his prerequisites for grad school the end of August. So far he really likes his classes and is learning a lot. He also really likes having his classes online so he can do them when he has time and doesn't have to sit through a class or try to juggle class time and work. Labor day weekend, we went to Utah (and of course we forgot our camera) for Craig's brother Ross' wedding and the Sanders (Craig's mom's side of the family) family reunion. We had a lot fun spending time with family and Ross' wedding was beautiful! We are so happy for Ross! He couldn't have found a better match for him and we wish him and Aubrey an eternity of happiness. On Labor day, we went with the Sanders family to Lagoon (an amusement park) and had as much fun as we could. Poor pregnant Sarah found out once we were there that she could ride a total of 3 rides, which was a bummer because we thought she'd be able to do more than that. At the Lagoon they have a water park (called Lagoona Beach) that Sarah could have had a ton of fun at but we didn't know they were closing it earlier than the park so by the time we got there we only had an hour to spend. Oh well. After we left Lagoona Beach Craig went on all the roller coasters and had so much fun that it made him a little sick (probably from doing one right after the other). Next time we go to Lagoon it will be when Sarah isn't pregnant but we did have a good time with family while we were there. Since we have been home from our weekend in Utah there hasn't been much going on. Craig has been busy with school and work and Sarah has been getting things ready for Isabella to come. Last Sunday was ward conference at our old ward and Craig was called to be the choir director right when we decided to move. We didn't want them to have to find a replacement right before the choir was performing so Craig kept his calling in the ward until ward conference. Craig put together a beautiful number for the choir to sing. He put the hymns "Where can I turn for peace" and "Lord I would follow thee" together and it sounded great! They did such a good job and Craig is so talented with music. Sorry that this post may be a little boring but at least I updated our blog! Today, we only have a week and a half until Isabella's due date and we're getting anxious to welcome her into our family!
