2011 Christmas Letter

Dear Friends and Family,
Another year has come and gone. As always, this has been a busy year at the Bronson house, but filled with so many blessings!
We moved a couple times this year. First, we moved from our apartment in Sugar City to a mobile home in Rexburg, and then back to an apartment in Idaho Falls. We moved to our new place the end of August and love our little home!
Craig continues to work hard at Winger’s Restaurant in Rexburg. He continues to be a server but was recently promoted to Front House Manager. This allows him make his own server schedule; which is really nice! Craig also went back to school this year. In September Craig started his first semester of prerequisites for graduate school at Idaho State University studying Speech Pathology and Audiology. He is doing his first couple semesters online but will commute to campus in Pocatello when he starts his graduate program next fall. So far he loves what he is studying! After many years of deciding what to do for employment, Craig finally found the perfect job! Craig also spent this summer working at the Diamond “P” Ranch in West Yellowstone as a horseback trail guide. He loves working at the ranch and spending some of his summers on a horse.
Sarah spent most of the year being pregnant! She found out on February 1 that she was pregnant and could not believe the news! Her pregnancy was a pretty easy one. Only a few days of sickness, hardly any swelling, and only gained 21 pounds! Sarah also continued to work at Hometown Dry Cleaners in Rexburg this year until September. From September to October she spent time unpacking boxes from our move to Idaho Falls and preparing for Isabella’s appearance into the world. Since Isabella’s birth she has been a stay-at-home mom. It is such a blessing that we are able to have Sarah be at home. She loves being at home with Isabella and spending time bonding and raising her baby.
Isabella was born on October 3 (her due date) and is such a joy and blessing to have! She is growing up so fast! She loves to talk, smile, play with her musical mobile and giraffe, and gave mommy her first laugh on Christmas Eve. Isabella is really strong! She is really good at holding up her head and will stand on her legs if you hold her. We love watching her grow!
Jack is still our fun little dog. He still loves his daddy very much; especially when daddy puts on jeans because that means he’s going outside! Jack is curious about his baby sister and will make sure she’s ok when she makes a noise.
We also took some fun trips this year before we became parents. In June, we went to Denver to spend time with family and friends and also because Sarah was a bridesmaid in her friend Jessica’s wedding. While we were in town, Sarah’s mom threw us a wonderful baby shower. It was so fun and almost like a high school reunion! It was nice for Sarah to see old friends and catch up. We also took a trip to Utah the beginning of September to attend Craig’s brother Ross’ wedding and attend the Sanders’ (Craig’s mom’s family) reunion at Lagoon Amusement Park. We also took one last weekend trip to Yellowstone in July. The highlights of the trip were seeing a show at the Pinecone Playhouse and taking a stagecoach ride in Roosevelt. We had never done that and wanted to do something new this time.
It’s been a great year for us! We are so grateful for the many, numerous blessings the Lord has sent to us, including: employment, education, the opportunity to travel, and our beautiful daughter! We are also thankful for our wonderful friends and family members! We love you all and hope you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Love, Craig, Sarah, Isabella & Jack!
