Here in the Mountains

Well, here we are in good ol' West Yellowstone Montana.  We arrived on monday, June 9th, and so far have been through some massive wind storms, currently enduring a small blizzard (yes...in June) and enjoying some souvenir shops in town.  We also were able to eat at the best restaurant in the world, The Canyon Street Grill.  I tell ya it's good! Not to mention i have a friend that runs the place and she picked up the tab for us! How cool is that.

Jack is enjoying the outdoors.  He enjoys them so much that he about drives us insane when he has to be inside.  He may be a little dog, but he sure has some gumption! We also have one small addition to our family! No, we're not having a baby. We bought a small Lion's Head mix Bunny rabbit! Here name is Kokomo (Koko for short) and she's a little black ball of fun.  Her and Jack are still trying to figure each other out.  Jack likes to play a game where he scoots her with his nose, and she likes to play a game where she stands on Jack's back.  Neither one of them seem to appreciate the other's game.  Their good though, and we haven't had any troubles yet.

So, in order to get an idea of life in West Yellowstone we have to tell you a little about our housing arrangement.  As one of the wranglers, Craig has access to a small cabin that's been around for more years than we want to reasonably imagine.  It has 3 rooms: a dining area (but no kitchen) that has a small table and room for a few shelves and a fridge, a bathroom that you can barely fit one person in, and then a bedroom.  The bedroom isn't too small, but all together the cabin is about 15 ft across by 25 or so long (just a guess).  It's cozy to say the least.  We have to cook in a microwave or on a gas stove that we got as a wedding present.  The water is actually pretty decent now that Craig got all the little kinks worked out.  You can actually take a shower! So, even though it's small...COME VISIT! We really love to have people come by, and there's room for you to stay the night, so please come!
